List Universities Approved by The National Universities Commission(NUC), To Run Part-time Programmes In Nigeria

Up to date, a total of thirty six (36) universities forwarded their completed documents, based on the approved format. Following the analysis of the submissions by the Department of Academic Standards and having satisfied the laid down guidelines for running Part–Time programme and
Sandwich courses in Nigerian universities, all the thirty six (36) institutions were recommended to the Executive Secretary for approval. Consequent upon Executive Secretary’s approval, letters were
communicated to the universities accordingly. The universities are:

National Universities Commission(NUC), Prosecutes 8 Operators Of Illegal Universities within Nigeria

About eight operators of closed illegal universities within Nigeria are being prosecuted in the court currently. This was made known in a weekly publication from National Universities Commission (NUC).

WAEC May/June 2012 Time Table and Syllabus

The 2012 West African Examination Council (WAEC) is around the corner, and the body has released the Exams Time-Table to make it easier for candidates to start the preparation of the exam. Unlike the previous years, when registration was done manually, this year has been upgraded to e-Registration. In a press release on the WAEC official website: "The WAEC e-Registration service makes registration easier for the schools and also eliminates errors in registration information which are hitherto made on paper and only detected while processing the paper forms by WAEC. Such documents as Timetable and Syllabus for the examination could easily be printed or downloaded by the School Authorities.

Neco Releases 2011 June/July Examination Results

The National Examinations Council has finally released the results of the 2011 Examinations held June/July.
The results can now be access from the board's official website using the new scratch cards from NECO.
Once the scratch card has been obtained, you can access the official NECO Portal by Clicking here
The scratch cards are readily available in all Neco Offices Nationwide.
